I still haven't heard back from my PET scan. I have another appointment with my oncologist tomorrow (where I expect we will go over results), and next week I have an appointment at Dana Farber to start the conversation about clinical trials.
In the meantime, my sisters visited and we did glorious things like eat delicious German food, hike in northern NH, and play a very nerdy but also very fun board game. Spending a weekend out and about with my favorite people was tremendously good for me, and though I still have no idea what's to come it just goes to show how great my support network is.
I am also still trying to stay ahead of things like calling to order a cd of my Brain MRI results so that I can take them with me to Dana Farber, checking on my health insurance (guess who's halfway to her deductible already!) and constantly updating my work calendar so folks know when I'm out for appointments. That in itself is a heck of a job.
